Neurodermatitis (atopic eczema, atopic dermatitis) is the most common inflammatory skin disorder in children and the number of cases in Germany continues to rise. Weeping, inflamed areas of the skin associated with severe itching often already appear during infancy. Neurodermatitis can also affect adults.
The DERMATOLOGIKUM HAMBURG offers holistic neurodermatitis therapy. In addition to the treatment of adults and children (q. v. Pediatric dermatology), the clinic also offers neurodermatitis courses for parents of affected children.
The customised therapy concepts consider various aspects of the disease, including the treatment of itching and inflammation, boosting the skin barrier, avoiding infections and triggers, as well as advice on the right washing and nutrition habits.
